Molly 04:09
Molly Molly brought me to her room she said there’s no concern out through the window shone the moon and soon her love I learned all one summer we did play as if there was no end I knew that it would fade away but I needed to pretend she moved like a woodland sprite danced from place to place she was dark and she was light and it showed across her face she didn’t live inside the town said she never could she favored wearing green and brown like the forest wood if we raised some little sprouts I thought they’d bloom beautifully she said ‘what are you on about? you won’t do that with me.” No bearing children, she explained a sickness of my youth so liberty is what I’ve gained and a vision of the truth and to you that truth I’ll tell blue eyes wide and round we just have now so live it well you’ll soon be in the ground so like the summer wind we flew it rolled on endlessly but as it ended yes I knew she was done with me soon the autumn colors changed she was gone without a trace leaving not a note behind nowhere for me to chase

Drop Down to Nothin' well you can lose your woman, that ain't hard and you can lose your money if you play the wrong card and you can lose your job if you say the wrong thing and you can lose till you can't hear the birdies sing but when you drop down to nothin when you drop down to nothin when you drop down to nothin you got nothin but yourself to pull you up you can waste your days on bourbon and beer and you can drive away everybody that's near and you tell yourself you don't need no one and you can drink top shelf until the bottle's done but when you drop down to nothin you can lose your mind to worry and doubt and you can fuss and fret what it's all about and explain how the world is gonna explode and there ain't no hope comin down the road but when you drop down to nothin
7.
Just About To Fall in Love Again It’s a first class puzzle it’s a genuine mystery it baffled Shakespeare so don’t go askin me it’s got its own reasons this thing they call the heart and you never know the season or how it’s gonna start and I tried it out one time tried it out two times and I’m just about to fall in love again I tried it out three times I tried it out four times and one thing I learned is that you can’t pretend sometimes the whole thing kind of disappears you might have been lacking something between your ears but if it comes a knockin on your door try not to screw it up like you did before I don’t know anything about love all I know it’s you I’m dreamin of it’s first class puzzle it’s a genuine mystery but when I’m kissing you it’s clear as clear can be so I guess I’ll just listen to my heart and sit back and let the movie start
8.
September Morning September morning cool day dawning don’t know what to do I could go to the fair but she wouldn’t be there September morning damp day dawning feeling sad and blue I could go to the town wander around but she wouldn’t be there

Stare the Devil Down well the devil he is legion, son and manifests in all you do you can’t hide and you can’t run you gotta beat him through and through you gotta stare the devil down and spit right in his face and tell him you ain’t gonna run or move from this here place he comes bringin’ misery hopelessness and doubt when you're broke down on your knees you’ll know what’s he’s about fear is what he’s counting on it’s his most powerful tool he’ll shake the ground your standin’ on and make you out a fool grab the devil by the neck and beat his head upon a stone until that devil’s good and dead then go off on your own
10.
Mad Hatter Blues standin on the corner wanta get out on the road maybe go to Florida but I must have what I’m owed always gotta holler, holler for the dollar things ain’t gonna go my way till I get paid Gotta girlfriend who’s a hippie and she lives in Mississippi or maybe I am lyin – I just want it to rhy - um really doesn’t matter, if I’m a mad hatter really doesn’t matter, really doesn’t matter everybody needs some respect cause we’re all a wreck to live in this world you gotta roll with punches you gotta do the rope-a-dope to live in this world you gotta play a lotta hunches and hold onto your hope the crazy desperado likes the echo in the grotto but no one comes to hear it, criticize or cheer it the world keeps grooving the world keeps movin only thing you can do is keep movin too

Monkey 02:01
Monkey all I've ever been is your monkey you wind me up to see me hit the drum all I've ever been is your monkey you keep my hangin round until I get the job done when I try to tell you how I feel I can't make words just monkey noise when I finally say that my love is real you're runnin out the door to go hangin with the boys all I've ever been is your monkey you like to see me wear my little monkey suit all I've ever been is your monkey you scratch my head and say I'm cute all I've ever been is your monkey

Devil’s Got His Shadow on Your Door I’ll dust my broom in the morning and put on a jacket of steel because things they come without warning and you never know what is and isn’t real I gave my girl a locket along with my undying love she sailed away with a man in a rocket now she’s flying somewhere high above I try and try to be upright I try to live by my word but the clowns are running the bigtop and the circus is gettin absurd I lost my wheels playing poker but the game was rigged, it was jive and there was nothin I could say about it if I wanted to leave there alive give me cold well water when I’m thirsty I’m staying away from whisky and wine cause I’m the one who mainly can hurt me and when my head is on straight I do fine well the ground underneath, is shiftin and the people standin on it, they’re shifty too and honesty is out on the ocean driftin and truth, well, she’s way out of view so all you ladies and gentlemen who believe that you’ve got yourself so secure there's one last point I will tell you, then the devil’s got his shadow on your door
